Sean and Kendra

Today marks the 8 year anniversary of our first date.  It is hard to believe we have been enjoying one another’s company for that long.  Here’s to many more years of sharing with my best friend and wife.  I love you!

So here is the finished product!! (the before pic is 2 posts below).  I am proud that Sean and I practically made this from scratch..well with a little help from Home Depot and the thrift stores.  Now I have a huge area to work with to be organized with my sewing, couponing, and to begin my scrapbook.  This weekend I will make the seat that will go on the top of the cedar chest that will go in the window nook.  I coordinated the same trim as on the desk as well as the same fabric that lines the desk will be on the seat.  Also made the cutest bed for Lily.  She loves it.

Today, Sean and I celebrate our 6 year anniversary. It has been quite some ride, but was worth every minute of it. I love him more and more everyday. Today he suprised me at work, with a bouquet of flowers. The card said “I am so thankful each and every day to be able to share my life with someone like you. You give me peace and hope for a brighter future. I can’t wait to make you my wife. LYTTNRO!!! And far beyond that.” I am one lucky girl. To many, many, more….
