After seeing  a recent episode of one my favorite shows (Revison3′s Hak5),  I decided this would be a fun and rewarding project to take on.  I originally wanted to build a multi touch coffee table similar to the Microsoft Surface but my wife persuaded me I should start out with something smaller first (I think she’s right).  Besides, I had a notebook die on me and there’s no sense in letting the LCD go to waste.  I plan on using this MT interface primarily as a MIDI controller for music application down the road.  If you are interested in MT and DIY solutions then the fine folks over at the NUI Group are full of helpful tips and information.  Below are some MT demos and the HAK5 episode:
