Sean and Kendra

Well today was the first real shopping trip I have made in months. I have been stocked up so I have only really needed small trips for bread, etc. Sean went with me today to Kroger..and I don’t think he realized what he was getting into! We bought a total of 53 items for $91.91!! WE SAVED A TOTAL OF $71.81!!! We saved $31.75 with coupons, $2 by Kroger doubling coupons, and $38.06 with store coupons and Kroger Card savings. Target at lunchtime: Transaction #1:bought 1 Fusion Razor and Gillette shave cream, used coupons and owed $7.22 OOP. Good considering the razor is $7.99 alone. Since I bought these 2 items, I received a $5 gift card..so like paying $2.22 for both the razor and the shave gel. I actually paid nothing OOP because I had a gift card from a couple weeks back.

Today’s shopping trip was broken up into 3 transactions. All together I paid $1.59 OOP!!! I also have $3 ECB to use next time. For $1.59 I got 10 cans of Pringles (will likely take most of these with us to Florida in a couple of months for the house guests), 2 Revlon 4 color no crease 24 hour eyeshadows, 1 skintimate shave gel, 2 bottles of Excedrin extra strength/quick release gels, juicy fruit, and colgate max white toothpaste. My total savings today at CVS was $52.55.
