Sean and Kendra

Well today they finally should up on our door step.  Early this morning we got a visit from our FedEx woman.  I have to say “These are the droids we are looking for” -Star Wars.  So happy to finally have this thing in my hand …. goodbye xv6900 hello Droid Incredible by HTC!  Kendra is loving her’s too.  I set it up for her this morning before she left for work!

Well this weekend has been a busy weekend but I did find some time to do some prototyping with my MT project,  My PS3 camera and led ribbon came as well as my Enlighten.  My bandpass filter is MIA though.  Anyway, I spent most of the time polishing the Enlighten  edges.  The purpose of this is so that the infrared led strips can shine into the Enlighten.  I started sanding with a 150 grit, moved on to 220, and finaly a 400 grit.  After the sanding I used Brasso to polish and buff the edges.  They came out looking pretty good but until I get the band pass filter I can’t really tell.  I’m starting to think about how to fabricate the housing and circuitry but nothing concrete at the moment.  Either way progress is progress!

Here’s a quick update on the project. I received my LCD controller board and everything is good. I did some quick test with my trusty netbook and as you can see below looks quite good.  Now to start gathering the other supplies … Endlighten, LED stripes, etc!
